Science Day 2024

For the science day on June 8, 2024, the ILS also opened its doors. Young and old visitors took a look behind the scenes of the institute of aircraft systems.

The choice was difficult for some:

Take a guided tour of the avionics labs? Navigate a space shuttle yourself? Or fly the Airbus A320 (in a flight simulator) from Frankfurt to Stuttgart? Or rather have Yoda walk and wave his lightsaber?

For an entire afternoon visitors listened, tested, experimented - and marveled.

The ILS made children's eyes sparkle and delighted adults.
