Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming 15 curious and ambitious girls for Girls' Day at our Institute. A day full of hands-on learning, constructing and programming.
After a hearty welcome the female researchers of tomorrow learned how to fly an Airbus A320: Their respect for the airplane as well as the work of pilots grew enomoursly within 2 hours.
Highlight of the day was the construction of a small spaceshuttle. From soldering and crimping cables to linking everything in the right position: with the help of our team each of them could then program the small shuttle.
Acknowledging our responsibility is the first step in promoting gender equality. We’re proud to support the next female generation of scientists, engineers, and tech enthusiasts. Who knows, maybe we’ll see some of these bright minds as future students or researchers!
